I firmly believe that the innovation that will bring the next economic boom will be in the adoption and implementation of a shared resource model across the small business community.
With roles becoming more and more specialized, the small business community will become less likely to compete effectively with larger organizations. That is unless we come together and form partnerships that span across resources- physical, intellectual and human.
I am going to start a small business revolution with this concept. The first step is my Shared Communications and Marketing Department. Within the next 5 years this practice will not only be prevalent, but it will put the small business community back on top- since along with specialization we will retain our scalability and agility.
