Since the conception of Defy Gravity in 2009, it has come a long ways. Defy Gravity started off
as a freelance production of photo books of well known people within the music industry, to a
artist management and promotional company by 2010. Defy Gravity Productions has become
a fast growing independent management firm in Nashville, TN. Within the first eight months
of 2010, Defy Gravity went from representing one artist to twenty-two artists spanning six
countries taken on five booking agents, two management representatives and local promotions.
By the end of 2010, Defy Gravity had place one of its main artist out on the road to do a few
opening for Grammy award winner headliners.
The staff at Defy Gravity Productions has worked diligently and tirelessly making contacts and
building relationships across the music business including; A&R, record labels, promoters,
sponsors, radio DJ’s, video-photographers, photographers, producers, recording studios,
distributors, musicians, and many more.
By Jan. 2011, Defy Gravity is ready to take that next big step. Open our own recording studio,
photography - video-photography studios and Publishing Company.
