Chris Silvey posted a new Marketing A Business thread on 1/29/2010

Ok guys check it out..

I wanted to tell you guys that Microsoft Office 2010 beta is available. I been real busy, so my new site isn't quite complete, but I had time today to add a link. There is no cost to the beta. It is a fully functional suite of tools for home and business. My new site is http://www.pccogs.com .

If you find my services, products and advice helpful. I would appreciate you filling out a reference form. I am a registered Microsoft partner and my goal is to become a Certified Gold partner, but to get that I need partner points and positive feedback is one way to achieve this. Being a certified or Gold certified partner allows me access to other products and services and offer them at a greatly reduced price. Your information is not stored, sold, loaned, leased to any 3rd parties other than Microsoft Partner References and it will not be used for solicitations. This short privacy policy is also posted on my site.

It takes 50 points to be certified and 120 to be Gold Certified. Right now I am authorized to sell subscriptions to most of Microsofts Online Services, however I need to be Certified to sell Microsofts Online CRM. Thanks for taking the time to read and hopefully I will have more goodies posted this weekend.

Just voted. When a beta is downloaded, how long can the files be used?

Thank you and Good Luck.

I tried to download it and I was asked to sign in or set up an account with microsoft online or microsoft live? It was a couple days ago so I dont remember exactly either way I wasn't able to just download.

Yes, Microsoft likes to use Microsoft live id. More or less a free account that includes email, messaging, blog, spaces, groups, etc.

As far as online services I just posted a 30 day trial on Microsofts Business Productivity Online Standard Suite. This includes 20 user licenses for Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Office Live Meeting, and Office Communications Online.

This is a very cost effective resolution for IT and after the trial the services per user is about 10 dollars a month. Custom packages can also be put into play depending on your needs.

I'll be posting additional information during the weekend. I am recovering from a bad case of the flu and actually today I was able to do a bit of work thanks due to a diet of fruits and yogurt.
