New Business - online marketing/adwords campaign help

I have just started The Volunteer Advantage and am working on promoting the company online. We've launched our website, Facebook, Twitter sites, blog and are working on an email blast. Has anyone had any successes at Adwords or willing to share best practices? My clicks/clickthrough rates are Low.
Any advice on building social network also greatly appreciated!

Hi Katharine, neat way you spell your name. I have a niece with the same name only spelled as the traditional Catherine.

Okay, I read your issue and I think I know someone who can help you. It's really a plug for a site but in a way it's a testimony because I've used the site and I've had lots of success. It's a series of videos that are loaded with up-to-date methods for promoting exposure.

For instance you get information on SEO and PPC and all the internet marketing strategies that put you up front where you'll be noticed. You learn how to drive traffic to your site in easy to follow steps.

Oh, I forgot, it's very affordable. $10 gets you 5 videos. I know it sounds crazy but this guy has made his millions and he just loves to teach so he puts out these videos for kicks, I guess.

Here's the site, just copy and paste it into your browser and your on your way!

I look forward to hearing more about your success! Cya, Jill

Hello Ms Bardenheier,

First I would like to say I love the concept and I can support volunteering. Next as I viewed the site I would like to provide a suggestion. To off-set the cost of your site you may want to plug in Googe adsense which is a tool that ads the Google contextual network to the site. What it does is advertises people that are using Adwords to promote their business. When a sale is made from your site, you earn some money. This off-sets the cost of running the site.

Now as far as Adwords, it can be extremely expensive and just because a person clicks on the link doesn't mean they'll stay on the site. It can be difficult to understand and I can provide you with a simplified solution and save you a tremendous amount of money. I offer a solution that saves our clients money and avoids the PPC (pay per click) aspect. Included with our service is computer support to all the machines you own, that's a $29.95 monthly value.

Take a look at our site for all the details. Go to www.sean.zurvitaads.biz

Katharine, there is a lot to PPC, one of the key things being copywriting and testing. You need to write a few ads and see which performs better then delete the dud and add another. The guy who wrote the 4 Hour Workweek tried titles for his book in a PPC account! The words really matter (keywords and story you present). Also having the right landing page makes a huge difference! Once people click, you have to capture them. There is a lot to this, how you structure the campaign and the ad groups all the way to the ad and landing page/s.

http://www.ppchero.com/ is a good resource if you want to do it yourself. I'd also be happy to make some suggestions if you'd like.

For Social you need a plan. You need to look ahead and orchestrate what you are doing before just diving in.

Your site is gorgeous by the way!
