MHT, is currently looking for an "owner operator recruiter" that would like to join our team in helping us to grow and expand our trucking/transport business. We are a family owned and operated carrier company based out of the Charleston, SC area. We are in need of a recruiter that can scout/seek out new owner operators and small fleet owners to add to our existing business operations. We are wanting both single and team operators to haul freight OTR, for our company, (hot shots, Dry vans, refrigerated, flat-bed, step-deck, RGN's, and heavy haul (anything up to 15 axles), the recruiter will be responsible for:
• Scouting/sourcing out new owner operators and small fleet owner recruits (both single and team operations), making sure they are fully recruited (sourcing, explaining company process and procedures, screening/qualifying, conduct interviews, offers (negotiations and acceptance) completion of contractor hiring (signing up qualified recruits), administrative process, and on-boarding/placing new contractors within our organization).
• Maintaining completed and in completed files of non-hired O/O contractors.
• Conduct consistent follow up and tracking of qualified (non-hired candidates), and existing O/O referrals.
• Effectively provide daily process reports of new prospective clients to MHT.

Due to an increase in freight demands for our shipping services and long term contractual opportunities (both local and nationally), MHT has plans for massive growth and expansion this year, in which we are currently in the process of restructuring ourselves from an assets to a non-assets 100% owner operator based carrier company. This is to help provide us with consistent growth without having to make huge investments in new equipment, so as a recruiter you will be playing a major role in the growth of our business, that’s why we are in need of a highly skilled and energetic individual or company that can move at a fast pace and thrive under pressure to meet and exceed our recruitment goals.
