How Much Should I Sell a Website For?

I have a highly ranked website with multiple pages that are money makers. Keywords on 1st page of Google (#1,2 ranked). The site is for plastic surgeons to gain clients through lead generation. Fully automated. I built from the ground up. Just not sure what something like this would be worth to somebody?

Hi Curtis, normally the price is yearly income multiplied by four. If you are branded in your industry, the multiple can even reach up to 10.

I've tried buying many websites for various reasons in the past. I've seen anywhere from $450-$950.

Is the site currently making money? or did you mean they have the potential to make money? Those are two different things, I supposed.

I recommend getting a formal valuation. For small businesses, the cost is usually between $5,000 and $10,000. Below $5,000 and you get low quality; above $10,000 you are paying more than you need to.

Posting a formula is ok but not realistic. Every company will operate differently and expense will vary. However, it’s typically a very bad idea to pre build a website without a buyer upfront. Websites today can be built with high quality for next to nothing. This makes the market very competitive and lowers the cost of purchasing a website.
