I think that this whole article was excellent, and each of the 5 points should be part of daily activity. Even when you run into an issue, if you do not promise more than you can deliver, and you are consistent in how you handle problems with your customer, even in the bad situations you can make a happy customer. You can even find customers will look for you to help them solve problems when they will not turn to others who they feel cannot help them solve their problems. I have run into this even with co-workers that upset a customer by not following the points in this article and the customer turned to me because they knew I would help them. Hope you make happy customers!

Most business talk and talk about customer service, but fail to deliver on the promise. The reason is they are trying to squeeze out every nickel of cost, which (often, but not always) leads to problems down the line. It is hard to imagine a business that could not benefit from improved customer service. Great customer service can be a tremendous differentiator for small businesses when compared to larger businesses. Large businesses have the advantages of economies of scale and easier access to capital. So how can small businesses compete? One of the easiest ways is to deliver truly superior customer service. Get to know your customers. Ask them questions, and listen to their responses. Follow up with them to make sure any problems have actually been resolved. Don't just pretend to care.

Hi,

Good customer service serves as the capital of every businesses to survive in this ever competitive world. It is indeed that every businesses must deliver excellent customer service.

Just want to share an idea that from our blog entitled The Importance of Good Customer Service | You can read more here __http://www.callboxinc.com/blog/branding/image-branding/the-importance-of-good-customer-service

Why is customer service so important? It is no secret that an awful customer service experience can drive a client to stop doing business with your company. The quality of your customer service is like the heart of your entire business. If the heart (customer service team) is not able to pump oxygenated blood (satisfied customers) out to the body’s (your company) systems, then the rest of the body will not function properly and will eventually fail. Furthermore, bad customer service experiences are often told by clients to their friends and other connections. If your company becomes well known for your terrible customer service, then no matter how great your lead generation marketing campaigns are, your company’s name will always be preceded by a bad reputation that can easily put off your business leads from doing any business with you.

Hope this may help.
