Software / Embedded Firmware Engineer

A Employee Opportunity in or near San Francisco, CA

ID or Reference #
Job Type Full-Time
Job Description We're looking for a talented software engineer to join our small team
developing innovative Bluetooth products, particularly stereo headphones
for iPods and iPhones. Previous experience in embedded software is
essential. The environment is C programming of a CSR BlueCore
processor based on ARM plus a DSP, but there's solid firmware and
reference software already so most code is at the higher levels.

Experience with Bluetooth profiles, CSR BlueCore chips, Bluelab SDK, iPod
serial communication, USB devices, and cell phone interoperability would
be nice. Must have a sense of human factors and usability. Must have an
iPod or iPhone. Must appreciate the Mac, but be able to program on a PC. Ability to write DSP audio compression and processing code would be
great. Ability to code small apps and/or drivers on PC/Mac might come in
handy later. Must be a self-starter. This is a key position with great
opportunities for career growth.
