Scrap Rats started as a mobile company doing everything from purchasing junk cars to servicing big name corporate operations. As the company grew along with our clientele our next step was to open a place for purchasing scrap metal from a fixed location. We opened our doors to the public mid July of 2010.
We have a clean 5,000 square foot warehouse with easy access located on the south side of Jacksonville, Florida. Our loading dock style service makes it easy for all customers to offload their metals whether in a car, truck, or even a tractor trailer we can accommodate them all.
We have a 5,000 pound scale on site that has been tested and permitted by the department of agriculture to ensure our customers an accurate weight every time
