Before assuming his father's position as head of Maloney Real Estate, James Maloney, Jr., worked in the municipal bond market as an institutional bond salesman. After positions with Norwest Securities and Blunt Ellis & Loewi Incorporated, he allowed his financial brokerage license expire in good standing and joined Maloney Real Estate in 1993.
