Each company has its advantages and disadvantages. For instance, USPS gives you/your client the option of picking up your package at the local post office if there is no initial pick up. UPS delivers to your home/business two and three times if there is no initial pick up. FedEx will not only deliver to your home, but they will call to let you know your delivery is arriving or has arrived. It's up to the individual's needs. You may want to visit each website to see which one accommodates you.

As you may have found out by now, those couriers are very convenient and very expensive. Fine for small shipments but you need to consider air cargo and then sea cargo when importing larger quantities. I don't know where you are but find a customs broker/freight forwarder in your area for more details.
