When do your landlord accomodated you when as a renter the house is under repair or construction?

Our duplex is being repaired in the following areas as we are living in the proprty. We have 2 small children and we have exposed sockets, wholes in the walls where insects are entering and dust is exposed and therefore a hazard. Our tub has been removed for repair for over 4 weeks.
