'JOURNEY TO SUNDANCE', my feature documentary film, has been a long and costly journey to get into post-production, all on my dollar, around $250,000. I am at a point where the film has been screened in front of two focus group audiences; to great responses, as well as screening as a "WORK-IN-PROGRESS" and winning the "JURY AWARD" at the MOVING IMAGE FILM FESTIVAL in Toronto, Canada, October 18, 2009.
Recently, I was approached by a Producers Representative about representing this film worldwide. We have come to tentative terms, however, an entertainment attorney is needed ASAP to review and make the necessary mutual changes to the contract, as well as view material in film for ‘FAIR USE’ consideration to secure E&O insurance and all other legal film related services. I am in need of an EXECUTIVE PRODUCER and/or INVESTOR to provide finishing funds ranging from ($30,000 to $50,000) in exchange for an Executive Producer credit, first position recoupment and profit participation.
These funds will retain the services of an entertainment attorney, E&O insurance, as well as acquire archive video and still footage in the film, Key Art work and finishing post e.g. M & E tracks, sound, picture color and all other deliverables.
