A partner and I are trying to produce a comedy pilot in early April. The script is very good, the actors have been cast, director and DP are locked, locations are chosen, and we are trying to put together a very good production crew. Unfortunately the budget that we have does not allow for this pilot to be produced with the quality and equipment that we are hoping for. We need advice on finding investors in order to fund the project. We are both new to this, and don't really know where to start. We just don't want the script to go to waste. It's a great pilot, it is very funny, relatable and we believe the networks will be impressed. If you have any advice for us, we would really appreciate it!

Hello there,
check out www.planetdma.com
Donna Michelle Anderson is a former Executive Producer who has great information. She also has a Yahoo group, which I think you can access from her site. She's AMAZING!
There is another book I got from the library called Reel to Deal by Dov Simens. His information is beyond helpful.
Also, have you thought of asking students....film students with cameras or checking on Craigslist?
