How about going to your nearest LARGE library and ask the reference lbrarian to help you find a listing of trade organizations within this unique industry. Look them up on the web, or call or write them and ask for information on membership AND a copy of their trade magazine, if they have one. Most trade magazines have "help wanted" section in as well as ads from the folk who will be your competitors.
Also, most trade organizations sponsor a trade show at least once a year. You might want to attend it in order to scope out the compeittion, meet competitors and clients, network, see what's new in the industry and attend industry-specific classes. It'll give you a chance to learm more about how the business is conducted in the United States.
