Who can help me find a special type of engineer. I dont know what type of a specialist I am rally looking for to developing a product.

I need to know if there is a type of engineer or title for someone that works with natural gas, and performs test to makes recommendations for the safety of a product. The product is a small cylinder that contains gas, and is evacuated by the tug of a draw string.
