I have been laid off since February 2009. I am a single mom of 2 teenage daughters, going to private school and I have had no luck in finding a job. Please, can anyone help me. I can send my resume. I recently worked for Stanford where I was laid off, due to the fraud scandal. I am desparate for a network or connection to find something. I have my Series 7 and 63, type 90+ wpm, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills. I have experience working at firms such as Federal Reserve Bank, Wachovia Corp., Smith Barney, UBS, Wachovia Securities, and of recent, Stanford. Can anyone help me? Thank you so much.

Have you thought to apply to work at Edward Jones, or Scotttrade? Maybe they would be interested in hiring you. I hear they are two good companies to work for in the financial area. Hope this helps. Best of luck to you.
