I want to 'roll-over' my401(k) to a truly self-directed ROTH in January. Please recommend a good, inexpensive Custodian.

I only have $2500, but I want to start investing in Real Estate with some friends here in Austin who are Real Estate Agents and Consultants. I've researched seven Custodians including iraservices.com, and irallcpartner.com., which I felt were my best options, but my Financial Coach is not impressed with any of them. I want checkbook control of the account. I need to make a decision soon. Can you help me? Thanks! Debora
