Looking to compile a list of suppliers to whom a major pharmaceutical company could outsource running of Reimbursement services for our patients. Essentially staffing a help desk with qualified people who can intake referrals via multiple mediums, help patients fill out statements of medical necessity, do private and public benefits investigations, do ongoing case management and handle appeals.

Frank, is this an area where you have direct working experience? If it is not, you might want to look into the HIPAA laws, which cover patient privacy and confidentiality. I can see potential, given your description of this business, for it to potentially violate them!

I would think your business concept would fall under the same health care classification as pharmacies.
