I’m looking for a partner, with business experience, who could talk to VCs, Angels or business development departments of big pharmaceuticals about funding and development of potential anticancer and anti-HIV therapeutics.
My start-up company possesses an intellectual property, I have the necessary industrial and scientific expertise for development of production and most of the major research machinery, proof of principles of IP. Currently renting lab space and having all documentation in place.
What I do not have is enough business experience to talk to investors and financial partners. Plus I have a heavy accent which I’m afraid might concern native speakers here in the USA.
It is highly desirable if a potential partner is from Massachusetts or from the New England area. In case of success we are speaking of hundreds of millions of dollars revenue. Technology is at an early stage of its development and may take a few years before product can put on market, which actually is a normal period of time for development of the therapeutic agents.
