Grants are few, tough to get and most are granted to non-profit, 501C organizations. The Federal government has a central grant website where you can search for all types of Federal grants. See:

While included in the above data base, you may learn more by also going to various agencies of the Fed. Government a such as:

or in websites like: http://www.rurdev.usda.gov/Home.html
Also many programs are mico loans or tax credits/deductions. Seek those in the individual departments. such as you see here:

Your State may have grant programs or has appropriations for jobs, stimulus, etc. Check you State website, also the agriculture department, etc.
