Hi Nomkhita,

I'm not familiar with the state of Maryland, but I would assume they have a similar set up to Virginia. Virginia has a website specifically for small business owners to secure state contracts. There is a registration process and once you are recognized you have the opportunity to create a profile that includes selecting categories that you provide services for. When an opportunity is available in your area, you are notified then have the opportunity to submit a bid. I would suggest looking at your state website. I have included the link below.
