I'm creating a single member LLC. I may want to add members in the future. Is that possible to do?

I'm starting a personal chef business. I envision including my husband down the line when it has taken off and I need more help managing the company. We decided not to include him as a managing member of the LLC now, but wait until he is actually involved in the operations of the business. Is that something that can be done?
