Non-Awkward NDA presentation?

I have an innovative marketing-esque startup idea. A successful marketing pro has been nice enough to meet with me and offer feedback/tips on whatever I want to discuss.

I want to cover my bases with a very basic NDA (nondisclosure) but I don't want to appear amateurish nor...ungrateful.

Any suggestions?

Another option is to take advantage of SCORE and the free, confidential counseling offered. Find your local SCORE office by using the Find Experts section of www.score.org.

ps: No one would think you amateurish to want confidentiality - your Marketing Pro included. Realize that many would question how much true protection you gain with a basic nondisclosure - though that is a discussion best held with an attorney. Use your local BAR Association Chapter for advice on that matter.

Thanks very much, Alice for your feedback and the info. I remember hearing about SCORE a few years back before I had anything business-y to actually talk about :) Appreciate the reminder. It's a tremendous resource, I hear. ~R - RuDee Sade Lipscomb 11 on 1/19/2011
