Patent attorney on the cheap.

As much as I would love to do it myself and avoid the attorney fees, I am in need of an attorney that handles patent applications. As close to free as possible. (funny joke right?) I have tried legalzoom for my trademark but they do not handle my form of patent. Any referrals or recomendations would be greatly appreciated!
