One of the top economical registrations sites is godaddy.com, thought may of the other sites have mirrored their costs. There are a number of factors to be very careful before your look at just cost to register your domain names. Importantly how easy is it to work with or move your domain name as need be. Network Solutions for example gives you a simple log in management tool so you can change your DNS settings, change ownership, Admin or Tech contacts, etc.

So before you look to just price of registering, consider your long term use of that domain and what ability you have to manage it.

Great information from Alice. I have registered at least 50 to 70 sites on both Network Solutions and Godaddy and I prefer to use Godaddy as my only provider now as their services are ahead of Network Solutions. Furthermore, the cost saving at GoDaddy is greater than all Registrar I've discovered. Specially, for country specific TLDs (such as .au, .ca, etc.). To maximize your savings there are a number of GoDaddy Coupon sites that allow you to take advantage of 10% to 70% savings.

I like Register.com If you have a domain(s) and short on cash, They'll let you hold it for 4 days until you make a decision. They are affordable and have an easy user panel to edit,change passords, etc. I give them a 5 star rating. I am NOT a fan of godaddy take care!
