The company will be delivering a video distribution service on the internet. Need someone's time and energy to help develop some of the back-end video encoding and delivery, preferences/matching engine as well as the data warehouse for customer BI.

Position Requirements
There are 3 main components to develop. The front end is java (struts2) + Flex 3. The matching/prefs engine is Java (application of classical search) and the data warehouse is java as well with BIRT.
For the front end, you need to know struts/ajax as well as flex/actionscript.
For the back end, you really, really should have applied graduate level AI to some real world problems.

I have built a proof-of-concept consumer media content delivery system and identified key revenue potential for the system as well as existing integration points to consumer delivery.
Although the idea is very 'buzzwordly', the key differentiator for this is that even though this is a 'web 2.0' technology, the key question how do we make money is very clearly defined.
I have a Master of Science in Computer Science and have a long career centered around Distributed Computing. I am looking for co-founders (for equal equity) to help polish what I have as well as implement some of the remaining technology while I shift gears to secure funding and build out the business side.
