Build, own and manage renewable energy producing facilities in California that do not use carbon-based fuels. Geothermal is a clean, renewalable, 7/24 energy source. Geothermal power has the highest on-line availability of any kind of renewable energy source including wind and solar power. It is proven, reliable and safe. Geothermal does not depend on carbon-based fuels such as oil, natural gas or coal. It does not require converting food-stuffs in to fuels, such as ethanol, and is not dependant on weather (wind) or sunlight (solar). Geothermal energy has no long-term hazardous waste deposal issues (nuclear) and facilities can be located in both urban as well as remote, sparsely populated areas.
