With the advent of mySpace, Facebook, LinkedIn and others, social networks are fast becoming the most popular sites on the web. My idea is a social network site dedicated to the boating industry. A place where boaters can meet, share stories, and talk about (what else?), their boats!!
The personal boating or marine industry is lacking an official social network site. This site would include many of the common social network functions such as blogs, wikis, forum, personal pages, etc. All with the end goal of bringing boaters together on a wide variety of topics.
This project is bringing together the two things I love most in life. The Internet and boating. And I have vast experience in both realms.
