Executive Vice President, Sales
This position will be responsible for driving media revenues, in particular advertising sales (advertising spots, 'Brought to you by ...' program sponsorships, advertising production, some airtime) and to establish an advertising sales force (in house or independent sales rep firm).
GoodNews TV is a startup company with no established brand and no established customer base. As such, it will be an essential and important factor that the qualified candidate has experience in a startup environment, preferably within the media industry (esp. cable television or radio).
The ideal candidate will also have experience leading sales teams, setting marketing and public relations strategies.

Position Requirements
3-5 years of proven sales experience, preferably in advertising sales.
Familiarity with the television industry is highly desirable.

We are going out to 530,000 cable subscribers (that's 1.6 million viewers). Currently, we are specifically looking for help in advertising sales (ad spots, program sponsorship). If you think you can help or know of someone that might be able to help (even through independent sales rep firm for media), please contact me.
