I am seeking partnership/financing to open a boutique for emerging designers and artists in a gallery-type setting. Each featured artist/designer will rent their space. The town is affluent with a booming downtown shopping area. The boutiques here are quite high-end and carry established lines. The younger, hipper residents will appreciate the opportunity to buy from up-and-coming designers and to establish relationships with them. Each designer must work in store one day a week and host an event such as a trunk show/fashion show/opening once a year. I will be owner/manager as well as a featured designer with my own line of handbags and footwear. I am seeking a partnership with both the store and my line.
