Position Requirements
I am looking for someone that is bright, innovative, motivated and willing to think outside of the box. I am also looking for someone with the right grit to start such a venture in a down market. This person needs to be able to see the value in things that others don't necessarily see the value in at that point in time. The candidate should be adept with finance. Real estate experience is preferred and candidates with engineering or design experience are desirable as well.

I am looking for a partner or two interested in the creation of a real estate development/investment company. I welcome any ideas, but there are two goals. The first is to develop and modernize urban living spaces, not just by creating the glassy corporate feel, but to implement re-use techniques and preserve what is already in place. The second goal is to acquire a portfolio or properties throughout the midwest and other distressed areas. The time is now, as valuations are at historical lows.
