The position with Arkalon is for an entrepreneurial, independent, commission-only sales and business development professional. Using your industry knowledge and network of contacts, you will identify profitable sales opportunities for Arkalon, present quotations and proposals, make presentations on Arkalon and its capabilities, and be responsible for managing all aspects of the customer relationship. You will earn a commission on your billed sales.
Arkalon will provide you with technical support. Arkalon will also manage all aspects associated with logistics, A/R collection and the like.

Position Requirements
Required:
1. Seven or more years of outside sales experience in the specialty chemicals business.
2. Knowledge of and contacts in high technology materials science-based industries or in the pharmaceuticals industry.
3. Familiarity with batch chemical manufacturing, and quality systems.
4. Basic computer literacy.
Desired:
1. Advanced technical degree and/or an MBA.
