VP Engineering

Co-founder & VP of Engineering for stealth consumer social media & networking startup:

Hands-on Dev leader (e.g., code demon!) who thrives in seed-stage startups, with an outstanding record of launching well-designed, new consumer applications. Able to roll up sleeves and build sizable modules of the Web application from scratch.

Set technology strategy, develop innovative solutions to deliver compelling customer UX.
Strong familiarity with Web 2.0 approaches & programming models, e.g., LAMP, J2SE, et.al.

Recruit world-class Dev team through design, development, testing & launch. Manage deployment & ensure product gets built to spec & is shipped on time. Experience with rapid development & project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Extreme Programming). Strong focus on Design & user experience required.

Position Requirements
5+ years relevant experience.

Strong previous experience launching consumer Internet startups from the seed-stage.

Must pride yourself on your coding & application design abilities as you'll be the initial Engineering force!

Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.

BS, CS, Engineering, or related education.
