| Company Information | Timberwolf Tree Farms is the largest tree nursery in Alaska specializing in fast growing trees adaptable to this latitude. I grow lodgepole pine, siberian larch and lutz spruce. I have worked with the Dept. of Agriculture, the Forestry Dept. and the University of Fairbanks introducing these species 8 years ago after the spruce beetle killed every mature spruce tree throughout the entire state. These trees not only adapted - they flouish. I now have over 25,000 trees in various stages of growth. These trees grow much faster than spruce, they are not eaten by moose (which is a problem here in Alaska).....if it doesn't have needles - it's moose food. The demand this year was greater than expected. I need to expand. I have the trees - the demand is there - it's just gotten too big for me to do it by myself. I like working on the tree farm. Need someone to do everything else. Looking to form partnership (LLC) with the right person. I don't need cash - I need help. |
| Position Information | Must be interested in owning a part of your own business (5% to wherever)...business experience helpful. Desire is very important. The potential for growth is here - right now. I was in the right spot at the right time when I started this business 8 years ago. The demand for my trees has created the need for expansion. Profit potential is unlimited. There are very many state/federal benefits related to owning a tree farm in Alaska. The right person is all that is needed. |

| Description | Timberwolf Tree Farms is the largest tree farm on the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska. I specialize in fast growing trees adaptable to Alaska. During the past 8 years I have worked with the Forestry Dept. in Soldotna, Ak., the Agriculture Dept. in Palmer, Ak. and the university of Alaska, Fairbanks to introduce new species of trees that would grow in this latitude. The idea came about after the spruce bark beetle infested the Kenai Peninsula and killed every mature tree 8 years ago. I have over 25,000 Siberian Larch, Lodgepole Pine and Lutz Spruce growing on 100 acres of land. These trees are fast growing and flourish in the entire state. These trees are in high demand. This business is expanding - I need help. rickhoops@gmail.com |
