We are a stealth mode Silicon Valley startup founded by a seasoned team of entrepreneurs and technologists. We are redefining the future of video delivery technologies. In the key position of Video Architect you will work on novel ways of processing, adapting, encoding, decoding and transporting video over different kinds of networks, including wireless networks. You will interface with marketing, executive management and key customers to understand the technical requirements for the products. You will develop the algorithms, architectures, specifications, and implementation guidelines needed to develop the products. You will also be involved in verification and testing at various levels -starting from simulation to prototype to final products. You will also be expected to contribute to the overall IPR portfolio of the company through innovations and patenting. |
| Skills & Requirements | MSEE, PhD strongly preferred, with 5+ years of direct industrial / research experience in video signal processing including encoders, decoders, motion estimation, filtering, quantization, interpolation etc. H.264, MPEG-2 and SVC standards knowledge is essential. Knowledge of video quality measurements, especially in real-life settings desired. Knowledge of network protocols (like RTP, RTSP etc.) related to video streaming strongly preferred.
Knowledge of IPR base in video coding desired. Granted and/or published patent apps in video processing a strong plus. Working knowledge of Matlab and/or C/C++. Successful candidate should demonstrate proficiency in DSP (digital signal processing) and filter design, and system architecture. |
