| Job Description | The User Experience Designer plays a key role in formulating great and winning software products. Working with product management, line of business owners, and engineers, the UED formulates prototypes of pages and sets of pages, and helps evaluate and evolve those pages relative to business success objectives. These pages must manifest a great design ethos, but must be feasible to implement and overall must meet the imperative need of delivering an efficient and compelling experience to the end user. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Gathering and understanding user needs • Translating business requirements into intuitive interface solutions • Maintaining a thorough understanding of back end systems and capabilities • Developing application maps, process flows, wire frames and mockups with accompanying interaction rules based on a synthesis of user needs, technical restrictions and requirement and business goals. • Participate in user research/usability testing |
