Job Description We are looking for the key Program Manager for the Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) for the state of Colorado. Limited relocation funds exist, so the right candidate is likely living in Colorado or a neighboring state. The candidate has likely retired and able to work this challenging but rewarding activity at modest salary. The Program Manager shall perform autonomously, and demonstrate vision in carrying out and managing the activities of the PTAC.
Skills & Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor’s degree in business or other related field (or acceptable equivalent combination of relevant education, training and experience) plus a minimum of four years financial and contract management experience. Thorough knowledge of and experience with government procurement practices and regulatory requirements of DOD. TRAVEL: The Program Manager will travel extensively throughout the State, since it is a statewide PTAC.
