| Job Description | Data Storage Unlimited, founded in 2009, is a privately-owned company, seeking a Regional Sales Manager. The ProStor product line we offer is the most cost-effective storage system for the long-term retention of data and images. ProStor InfiniVault integrates information management software, online disk, and RDX removable disk to simplify retention management, while automating disaster protection and compliance. It is being implemented in healthcare, document imaging, financial services, digital video archive, service provider, and government applications.
POSITION DESCRIPTION The Regional Sales Manager must be a self-starter, results-oriented, and a knowledgeable sales person. The person filling this position will create and sell to new accounts, while maintaining overall responsibility for client relationships within a designated territory. The Regional Sales Manager should understand the concepts of data migration, data archival and data preservation. Our Regional Sales Managers must possess the ability to manage a complex, high-value, consultative sale. In order to successfully generate new business, Regional Sales Managers are expected to develop and execute territory and opportunity management within their defined territory. Execution of the strategy requires mastery of the full sales cycle, including prospecting and lead generation, opportunity management, product demonstrations, development of unique value propositions, and the contract negotiation and closing process. In addition, a Regional Sales Manager is expected to manage customer relationships that ensure customer satisfaction and a profitable relationship for you and Data Storage Unlimited. Our Regional Sales Managers serve as the primary point of contact for the client’s executive, senior, and middle level management – from initial contact through installation. The Regional Sales Manager will balance the needs of the customer with the interests and direction of Data Storage Unlimited, while acting at various times as facilitator, consultant, and business process strategist. |
| Skills & Requirements | DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
• Business, Marketing, or Computer Science Bachelors Degree, or equivalent experience. • 5 to 7 years of experience in enterprise sales account executive, with a record of consistently exceeding sales quotas • Ability to develop and articulate a clear understanding of Data Storage Unlimited and Data Storage Unlimited products/solutions, and a strong aptitude for determining the optimal way to position products in the market. • Full understanding of enterprise data systems and B2B sales business model, with a proven capacity for developing and understanding sales strategy. • Demonstrated ability to guide cross-functional teams, including: Sales, Marketing, Development, and Delivery to secure new business opportunities. • Ability to flourish in a fast paced, team-oriented environment, and a talent for pursuing sales opportunities using strategy, intuition and teamwork. • Outstanding analytical, creative, written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. • Proven proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
