| Company Information | In 2000 after Seventeen years as a Respiratory Therapist and marketing representative with a major independent Home Medical Equipment supplier in the Greater Jacksonville area I left to try my hand at starting up my own independent HME Company. Having signed a non competition agreement years earlier I was prohibited from doing so in the town I had called home for so long so I decided to open just outside the area of non-compete in Bradford Co.
After nine years as the owner/operator of Home Respiratory Care, Inc. a full service Home Medical Equipment Company I am ready to bring it to Jacksonville but I will need some help to make it a reality. Here it is. I am seeking a working partner or partners, I stress working partner, not simply an investor to help fund the acquisition of a suitable location in Jacksonville. I hope to purchase suitable commercial property in Duval County free and clear and I am prepared to offer up to 49% of my company to make this dream a reality. This is an excellent opportunity to enter the Durable Medical Equipment (DME) supply and service industry in Jacksonville. I have no outstanding debt, all equipment and fixtures are paid for and I have never relied on a line of credit to operate. Our inventory includes Invacare Concentrators, Homefill oxygen systems, IVC beds and wheelchairs, Span America’s support surfaces, Respironics and Resmed APAP, CPAP and BI Level equipment in addition to all the low cost routinely purchased items such as canes, commodes, crutches, diabetic supplies, nebulizer compressors and various walkers. We have excellent terms with many leading manufacturers such as Golden Technologies, Invacare Corp, Merit Medical, Mada Medical, Pride Mobility, Sunrise Mobility, Harmar Mobility and Access Corp. Silverstar Lift and Freedom Lift in addition to several distributors such as Coast to Coast Medical, Complete Medical, Drive Medical, Essential Medical, ISG and TAG. We are listed on Dunn & Bradstreet. All required licenses have been renewed thru May 2011 including State of FL. Home Medical Equipment Provider License: #1434 and FL. Oxygen Retailer License #32 2574. We have attained accreditation thru "THE JOINT COMMISSION" in home health services and have met all State and Federal requirements for Medicare and Medicaid providers.
