Prestigious NYC Insurance Brokerage Firm is seeking a Sr. Claims Rep to join their team. Responsibilities include: * Receive information from clients regarding losses and review and verify that coverage is in place. Handle claim from start to finish * Keep ongoing activity logs and follow up on claims as needed * Handle questions or concerns and act as mediator between client and carrier * Provide information for adjusters and other company personnel * Provide insured with interim and final settlement information * Review lawsuits submitted by clients prior to filing with carriers * Pursue programs for personal and career development and advancement |
| Skills & Requirements | # Valid P&C Broker’s license
# 10-15 years experience with multi-line claims – brokerage experience a must! # Excellent knowledge of all areas of multi-line coverage and how this relates to different types of losses # Entertainment claims handling experience preferred # Sagitta agency management system knowledge # College degree highly preferred # Excellent computer skills # Great customer service skills # Great verbal and written communication skills |
