Company Information Kommons adds structure and context to big public conversations as they happen. We're starting by building a robust question and answer interface on top of Twitter. We make it easy for anyone to ask pressing questions about topics like #bpoilspill and use game mechanics to incentivize high quality responses.

We tested an alpha in February, did a massive redesign of the site in response to feedback, and now have our beta nearly ready for a limited launch. We want to find a technical co-founder before our full launch to help us deal with scaling issues, but at this point are planning to launch before the end of the summer. We're also talking to potential investors, but won't move forward with any deals until we have a userbase.

About Us:
At the moment we're a two person team.
Cody Brown founded NYU's popular campus blog, NYU Local, and has spent the past two years building the campus blog and writing about media; his work has appeared everywhere from TechCrunch to Harvard's Niem
Position Information We're looking for a technical co-founder — an engineer who can help us scale in preparation for our beta launch this summer. Our backgrounds are in product design, user experience, and journalism. We aren't engineers but we've learned enough Ruby to hack together multiple iterations of a working beta.

The ideal candidate is a creative developer who craves the fast-paced startup environment. Experience with APIs, Ruby-on-Rails or equivalent development frameworks a plus. Most important is that
