| Company Information | VZones is a 2.5 dimensional cartoony virtual world platform for engaging entertaining online interaction, which we achieve by offering a wide range of activities in a community setting. VZones was launched in 1995 and the more than half of our original members still call VZones their virtual home today.
The average VZones’ user is a woman in her mid 30’s, has been a member for 10 years, has two avatars, and spends more than 3.4 hours a day in his/her virtual home engaging in multiple activities including communicating with friends, attending events, decorating apartments, playing games and discussing real-world issues. VZones consists of three unique virtual worlds including: newHorizones, Dreamscape and Seducity. In each world, users interact with each other via voice and interactive text. In addition to being the longest-standing virtual world on the web, VZones works daily to broaden its scope and now appeals to a new generation of users. Each new customer who becomes an "in-world" member has the opportunity to choose from several activities including: • Strategic games • Creating and selling virtual goods • Clue-based quests • Picture-based activities • Sporting events and activities • Community-building • Holiday events • Political discussions and debates • Foreign language lessons? VZones’ broad spectrum of users includes an exceptionally diverse range of members including teachers, stockbrokers, musicians, artists, computer programmers, students, producers and many more. While the majority of our members are females in their mid-30’s, the range spans from late teens to mid-60’s. VZones was developed by Fujitsu in 1995 and later sold to David Andrews. In October 2006 VZones was purchased by its current CEO, Justine Reichman. |
