RIGHT LEAD is a non-profit organization that rescues neglected and abused horses using a therapeutic program for At-Risk kids and teens. Both the horses and kids learn trust, social skills and better choices. The horses are re-homed and the kids lead a better life. At RIGHT LEAD no child is turned away due to the inability to pay the weekly fee (they come once a week for their sessions and the fee helps pay for the horses). Because of this, we need major funding and donations. The horses need food, vetting, bedding, feet and teeth care and other such barn items. We would also like to improve our barn and add an indoor riding arena so we can work all year long. This maybe a long term goal but I would like to see this happen ASAP do to the response we are getting for the childrens therapy |
