| Company Information | The Spero Scholarship Foundation is currently seeking applicants for our charter Board of Directors. The Board of Directors supervises CEO activities and provides oversight for all foundation activities and its endowment. All members will attend the annual board meeting in early August and review CEO reports. Board members are given other responsibilities as described in the Foundation by-laws.
Duties may include- Developing development curriculum Managing the scholarship endowment Designing contracts with partner agencies Creating annual budget Preparing annual donor reports & tax documents Reviewing student reports Researching trends in education |
| Position Information | We are especially interested in applicants with experience in
non-profit law finance secondary or post-secondary education business management. Applicants with other backgrounds or who are pursuing training in these areas are also invited to apply. All board positions require strong commitment to education and philanthropy. Because of the nature of our work in higher education, a bachelor's degree is preferred. |
