Responsible for inventing, modeling and testing novel organic substrate growth processes eliciting high-growth and high-yield. Ability to work independently and in the team setting is requisite. Expected Contributions: -Develops cost effective, and high-yielding biomass growth processes,leveraging from, and working with, the companys University partner research team. Design, execute, and analyze process experiments -Constructs technology work plan for process segment-milestones, resource requirements. -Understands where the University responsibilities and capabilities end, and directs the plan for the developing of the commercial process. -Adds to the intellectual property portfolio of the company -Analyzes, documents and presents experimental results |
| Position Information | Job Requirements MS/PhD in Chemistry/Biochemical/Chemical Engineering and 3 years minimum post-educational experience in a biochemical process effort (BSc considered with highly-aligned experience). Candidate must have a solid understanding of analytic instrumentation (HPLC, LC/MS, GC/MS) and the theory and application of separation science, process economics and scalability. Experience in the scale-up of oil/water separation processes to the pilot scale would be a great background. |
