Summary

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Atalaya always had a niche in the fashion world. As a kid, she would doodle jackets, skirts and dresses. According to her mom, she always had a keen sense of style. As the years went by, that element was overshadowed and eventually replaced by other adolescent activities.

Who could've predicted she'd be back in that world 20 years later?

To avoid an unpaid position with the government, Atalaya signed up for fashion classes (with no serious intentions). Next thing you know, she's on top of her game! She creates art with some of the most exquisite yarns and fabrics by incorporating bold colors, traditional and nontraditional silhouettes and unique designs!
