Edward -

There are several places to get a sample business plan for the type of business you have or are opening -- see www.score.org Tools link, www.bplans.com or Entrepreneur Magazine's website business plan section -- just realize you need to add your own research, data, market data, costs, projections, etc. As Howard said, SCORE has local offices that can help you with your plan. Find you local SCORE office at www.score.org, Find SCORE section.

I agree with Howard - Write it yourself. Research examples online and dive in! You'll learn so much about your own business and the market around you!

Hi Ed,

As previously mentioned, SCORE, bplans.com, and Entrepreneur magazine are good places to find Business Plans.

You can also check out www.nase.org (National Association for the Self-Employed). Another good resource is www.Inc.com which has some terrific articles on business plans.

Is the business you wish to start worthy anything? Are you willing to pay your dues in the business and work for nothing? My question back to you is what do you mean by a free business plan? If it is a template go to www.score.org and look at the business toolbox on the left. You will still have to put in a lot of time to make it work. I would be happy to critique your work.
